Multi-Format Inputs and Outputs

The Roland V-60HD supports up to 8 inputs including 4 SDI inputs via BNC, 2 scaled HDMI inputs, 1 RGB/component input shared with HDMI, and 2 still image stores. Two SDI and two HDMI outputs are assignable to program, preview, and auxiliary buses, with an additional HDMI multiview output for monitoring all inputs simultaneously on a single display.

18-Channel Audio Mixing

The built-in 18-channel audio mixer handles 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs with phantom power, RCA inputs, and 6 channels of audio de-embedded from incoming SDI and HDMI sources. Auto Mixing automatically manages microphone levels across multiple speakers, and up to 8 discrete audio channels can be embedded into the SDI output for post-event correction or multi-language separation.

Composition and Keying

The Roland V-60HD includes a downstream keyer supporting both luminance and chroma keying, picture-in-picture with multiple window shapes, and split composition effects, making it well suited for overlaying titles, logos, and graphics during live presentations and broadcasts.

Tally and Control

Roland’s Smart Tally system turns any smartphone, tablet, or web browser into a wireless tally light over standard IP, showing red for program and green for preview. The unit also supports remote control via Ethernet using Roland’s Remote Control Software for PC and Mac, and RS-232 for fixed installations.

Portable and Broadcast-Ready

The Roland V-60HD processes video at 4:2:2 8-bit and handles a wide range of formats including 1080p, 1080i, and 720p, with illuminated PGM/PST cross-point buttons and a T-bar for manual transition control, all in a tabletop-sized chassis easy enough for a single operator to run.
