Soundcraft Vi1 32 Channel Audio Mixer

Soundcraft put the heart of their acclaimed digital Vi series into a small format console with analog I/O to create the affordable Vi1 stand-alone 32 channel digital mixing system. Retaining the user-friendly Vi interface and signature audio quality, the Vi1 is ideal for touring, broadcast, and installed sound applications.  The Vi1 is a 32 x 27 analog I/O console with additional monitor A and B outputs plus Six digital inputs and outputs on a combination of AES/EBU and SPDIF connectors. The control surface features sixteen motorized channel faders, eight assignable VCA output faders, and two master faders.

Assignment and configuration are conveniently controlled in the digital domain, allowing the Vi1 to deliver mixing prowess that belies its modest 3.3′ frame. The spacious 22″ Vistonics touch screen offers the option of familiar capacitive touch control over certain functions while two rows of 16 rotary encoders handle parameter control. 16 channels and their parameters can be viewed simultaneously and scrolled by banks up to a total of 46 mix channels. Snapshot, talkback, and monitor control are also available via the touch screen.
