AV Actions is back and gearing up for a high-volume season. We’re rapidly expanding our crew to support upcoming live events and technical productions, and we want you on the team.
Based in Alexandria, we supply production equipment to major hotels and venues across the Metropolitan DC area. Our work centers on LED video walls, from LED posters and cabinets to full LED podium builds, along with production cameras, PTZ systems, wireless microphone kits, and sound reinforcement gear for corporate events, conferences, and live productions. As the season picks up, we need skilled people who can keep pace with a full calendar of shows without cutting corners.
We’re actively hiring experienced, top-tier professionals for the following roles:
Senior LED Engineers / Lead Techs ($50+/hr)
This role is for someone who has spent real time on the floor, not just in a training manual. You’ll need proven field experience configuring, mapping, troubleshooting, and managing high-resolution LED display systems under tight production schedules. Expert knowledge of video processors, signal routing, and structural staging is a must, since our builds range from single LED posters to large modular walls and podiums that need to go up and come down fast without sacrificing quality. We offer premium hourly rates based on your level of expertise, and there’s plenty of room to take on more responsibility as our event calendar grows.
Event Logistics & Production Coordinators
Behind every smooth show is someone keeping track of everything that could go wrong before it does. We need highly organized, detail-oriented people who can handle gear management, show pack-outs, crew scheduling, and keep site workflows running smoothly from load-in to strike. You’ll be coordinating directly with techs, venues, and clients, so clear communication and a level head under pressure matter just as much as your organizational skills. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on staying ahead of a checklist rather than reacting to problems after they happen.
Event Tech Sales Representatives
We’re looking for driven sales professionals who can bring in new corporate and live event clients, put together tech quotes, and help grow our client base across the DC region. This role suits someone who understands production equipment well enough to speak confidently with venue managers and event planners and who enjoys building long-term relationships rather than chasing one-off deals. Familiarity with the local hotel and events market is a big plus, since much of our work comes from repeat business with venues we already know well.

Our events range from single-day corporate meetings to multi-day conferences with full production builds, so no two weeks look exactly the same. You’ll be working alongside a small, experienced crew rather than getting lost in a large operation, which means more hands-on time with premium gear and more say in how a show comes together. Schedules can shift with the season, so flexibility and reliability go a long way here.
