What the Q8 Actually Does
Think of the Q8 as the brain behind a multi-screen setup. It takes in feeds from cameras, laptops, media servers, and slide decks, then routes and blends them across however many LED walls, monitors, or projection surfaces you’re running. For hotel ballrooms hosting galas, product launches, or executive conferences, this means presenters can move between speaker slides, live camera shots, and video content without a single hiccup.

How We’re Using It
For our hotel clients in the DC and Alexandria area, the Q8 shines in a few specific scenarios:
Ballroom conferences with multiple screens. When a client wants IMAG (image magnification) on side screens plus a confidence monitor for the speaker, the Q8 handles all of it from one box instead of us cobbling together several smaller switchers.
Product launches and galas. The keying and layering features let us build polished, branded visuals, think logo overlays, picture in picture camera feeds, or slide transitions that actually look intentional instead of jarring.
Broadcast style events. If a client is livestreaming a keynote or recording for later use, the multiviewer lets our operator keep an eye on every camera and graphic before it ever goes live.
Large scale LED wall deployments. Paired with our LED cabinets or posters, the Q8 manages the signal path so the wall displays a clean, edge blended image rather than a stitched together mess.
Why It’s Worth Asking For
A lot of venues have the screens. What separates a smooth show from a stressful one is what’s feeding those screens.
