Blizzard Lighting G-Max 200
The Blizzard Lighting G-Max 200 is a 200W LED moving head spot with a 13° to 27° motorized zoom, 7 static and 7 rotating glass gobos, an 8-color wheel, dual prism effects, motorized iris, focus, and frost, and 540°/230° pan/tilt range. Controllable via 16/19-channel DMX, it’s a full-featured fixture for live events, theaters, and production stages.
Lighting Up Your Next Hotel Event with the G-Max 200
Walk into any great hotel ballroom event and you probably notice the video walls and the sound first. But lighting is what makes the room feel finished. A well-lit stage, a glowing logo on the wall, and a warm wash across the head table: guests might not know why the room feels good, but they feel it. That’s why we’ve been adding to our lighting inventory at AV Actions, and we’re excited to share what’s new.
The Blizzard G-Max 200 LED Spot Moving Head
If we had to pick one fixture to highlight, it’s the Blizzard G-Max 200 LED Spot Moving Head. It’s a compact, versatile light that earns its spot on almost any event.
A spot moving head gives you a tight, defined beam that you can aim, move, and change on the fly. That opens up a lot of options. You can project a company logo or pattern onto a wall or dance floor using gobos. You can add color to set a mood for a gala, then switch to something cleaner for a keynote. You can also add motion and energy for a reception or awards night without turning the room into a nightclub.
For hotel work, the size is important. Ballrooms and meeting spaces often have tight load-in windows, limited rigging points, and strict rules about how things get set up. The G-Max 200 is easy to handle, easy to place, and quick to program, which keeps setup smooth and stress low.
New Lighting from Hauk Prolight
HK-BP918 UV Uplights. These are great for adding a bit of drama and fun. UV lighting makes certain colors and materials pop, and it works well for themed parties, galas, and anything where you want a little extra wow. They’re also compact, so they tuck into corners and along walls without getting in the way.
RGBW 4-in-1 LED Outdoor Wash Lights. Hotel events don’t always stay indoors. Patios, courtyards, tents, and building exteriors are all fair game, and these outdoor wash lights let us light them up with a wide range of colors. The added white channel gives you cleaner, more natural-looking tones, which is a big help when you want to light up a space without it looking too colorful.
HK MT Color Wash Lights. Wash lights are the workhorses of event lighting. They fill a stage, a wall, or a whole room with smooth, even color. If you want your branding colors on the walls behind a speaker or a soft glow across a ceiling, these get it done.
Putting It All Together
The best part about having lighting, video, audio, and camera gear all under one roof is that everything is planned together. Your LED video wall, your Shure wireless mics, your JBL speakers, and your lighting shouldn’t be competing with each other. When one team handles all of it, the room looks and sounds like it was designed as a whole.
Whether you’re planning a corporate meeting, a conference, a gala, or a wedding, we’d be happy to talk through what lighting makes sense for your space. Sometimes a few well-placed fixtures are all you need. Other times it’s a full rig. We’ll help you figure out what works for your event and your budget, with no pressure.
