8 HDMI Inputs with Standards Conversion

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO features 8 independent HDMI inputs supporting all HD signals up to 1080p60, with discrete frame rate converters, format converters, and re-sync on every input. This allows seamless switching between professional cameras, consumer cameras, game consoles, and computer feeds without any external conversion.

9-Stream ISO Recording and DaVinci Resolve Integration

All 8 input feeds can be individually recorded as H.264 MP4 files simultaneously alongside the program output via USB-C, for a total of 9 streams captured in real time. The switcher automatically generates a DaVinci Resolve project file with synced timecode and camera numbers, making post-event editing fast and organized.

Keyers, DVE, and Composition

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO supports up to 9 layers of composition with 4 upstream and 2 downstream keyers, up to 4 chroma keyers, up to 4 linear keyers, 2 DVEs with borders and drop shadow, 5 pattern generators, and 2 color generators, giving operators a full broadcast-level toolset for live graphics and effects.

Multiview and Outputs

Two independent HDMI outputs can be configured for program, direct camera feeds, or a multiview layout with up to 16 custom windows covering inputs, keyed video, graphics, and program output all on one monitor. A USB-C port outputs program video as a webcam for Zoom, Teams, and similar platforms.

Live Streaming and Audio

The unit streams directly via RTMP over Ethernet to YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch, Zoom, and other platforms without a computer. The built-in Fairlight audio mixer handles all HDMI embedded audio plus 2 analog stereo inputs, with 6-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, expander, and noise gate on every channel.
