Blackmagic Design Camera Control Panel

The Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Control Panel lets a single operator remotely control up to 4 Blackmagic cameras with professional broadcast CCU controls, including iris, shutter speed, white balance, master gain, pedestal, and independent RGB adjustment for whites and blacks. Built for live multi-camera productions, it connects directly to ATEM switchers via Gigabit Ethernet and includes recallable scene presets and 3-axis joystick control for each camera.

Multi-Camera Control

The Blackmagic Design Camera Control Panel provides independent controls for up to 4 URSA Mini, URSA Broadcast, Blackmagic Studio, and Micro Studio cameras from a single unit. Each of the 4 camera controllers includes a dedicated LCD screen with soft buttons and knobs, giving the operator a clear view of each camera’s status at a glance.

Scene and Paint Controls

The top section of each controller handles master gain, white balance, and shutter speed adjustments, along with scene preset save and recall for quickly adapting camera settings to lighting changes during a live production.

RGB Gain and Pedestal

The center section features independent RGB controls for both gain (whites) and pedestal (blacks), allowing precise color correction and camera matching across all channels. Because Blackmagic cameras include a built-in DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector, the level of color control available from this panel goes well beyond standard CCU capabilities.

Iris and Lens Controls

The bottom section of each controller includes a high-quality 3-axis joystick for precise iris and master black adjustment, along with an on-air/preview LED indicator, a call button for talkback with the camera operator, a panel lock button, and network and power status indicators.

Connectivity

The Blackmagic Design Camera Control Panel connects to ATEM switchers and other ATEM hardware via 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports with loop output, making it easy to integrate into existing ATEM production setups without additional networking hardware.
