The ProX XT-GRU Rapid U-Grid is a modular, freestanding lighting grid system designed for quick deployment and takedown at any venue, giving production teams a flexible, road-ready structure for hanging moving heads, LED pars, and other entertainment lighting without permanent rigging.

Modular U-Grid Design

Each XT-GRU3024 U-Grid module measures 23.6″ x 29.6″ with a 2″ tube outer diameter, built from EN-AWT6 6082 aircraft-grade aluminum with TUV-certified welding. Modules stack vertically and are expandable up to 10 U segments beneath each other, allowing the grid to grow from a single fixture hang to a full wall of lighting positions. Each U module includes two safety point attachments, one on each side, for compatibility with a wide variety of fixture mounting hardware.

Load Capacity and Safety

Each individual segment supports a load capacity of up to 110 lbs, with all load ratings tested and inspected during manufacturing and quality control. The system is compatible with the ProX Truss XT-S F31 selection of single tube 2″ pipes, T sections, spigots, and corner adapters for unlimited configuration options.

Rolling Aluminum Baseplate

The included 30″ rolling baseplate is constructed from 10mm AWT6 6082 aluminum with handle cutouts and multiple drilled stud mounting holes, rolling on four 4″ locking casters for easy movement from truck to venue to stage. The baseplate is also compatible with ProX F34 truss products, giving it additional flexibility in larger production builds.

Endless Configuration Options

The Rapid Grid modular design supports single fixture hangs, double hanging, ladder configurations of multiple fixtures, and full walls of hanging positions. The system breaks down quickly and ships in separate boxes for efficient transport and storage between events.
