The Tripp Lite SmartPro LCD SMART1500LCD is a 2U rack/tower line-interactive uninterruptible power supply that protects connected electronics against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges, and line noise, keeping critical event production equipment running during power disturbances.

1500VA/900W Line-Interactive Battery Backup

The SmartPro LCD delivers 1500VA/900W of power protection with true line-interactive topology, switching to battery in milliseconds during a blackout to keep connected equipment running long enough for safe shutdown or generator handoff. Battery runtime supports a half load of 450W for up to 11.8 minutes and a full load of 900W for up to 4.4 minutes.

Automatic Voltage Regulation

Built-in AVR automatically corrects brownouts and overvoltages without drawing on the battery, maintaining a stable 120V nominal output during abnormal voltage conditions across a range of 75 to 154V input. This keeps the battery fully charged and ready for an actual outage while protecting equipment from power fluctuations common in large venue environments.

8 Protected NEMA 5-15R Outlets

All 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets provide surge protection rated at 870 joules, with dataline surge protection for TEL/DSL and 10/100Base-T Ethernet connections also included. The 6-foot input cord terminates in a standard NEMA 5-15P plug for easy connection to any standard wall or power strip outlet.

Rotatable LCD Status Display

A front-panel rotatable LCD with dimming functionality reports real-time operating mode, input and output voltage, load level, battery charge percentage, and estimated runtime in minutes, giving operators a clear picture of power status throughout an event without needing a laptop.

USB and DB9 Communication with PowerAlert Software

USB (HID-enabled) and DB9 serial communication ports allow integration with Tripp Lite’s free PowerAlert software on Windows and Mac for remote monitoring, automated safe shutdown, and UPS management from a connected computer. Hot-swappable batteries support maintenance without downtime, and the unit is ENERGY STAR certified and TAA compliant.
