Pixel pitch and image resolution
The P1.9 designation refers to a 1.9mm pixel pitch, meaning individual pixels are spaced just 1.9mm apart, producing a high pixel density capable of rendering sharp, detailed images at close viewing distances. This makes it particularly well suited for indoor environments where the audience may be within 6 to 15 feet of the display surface.
Full color reproduction
The display uses SMD (surface-mounted device) RGB LEDs to deliver a wide color gamut with smooth color gradients and accurate reproduction across the full spectrum. High refresh rates — typically 3,840 Hz or higher — ensure the display photographs and films without visible scan lines or flickering, making it a strong choice for broadcast and live streaming environments.
Brightness and indoor performance
With a brightness output typically ranging from 800 to 1,000 nits, the P1.9 is calibrated for controlled indoor lighting conditions where ambient light is managed. This level of brightness produces vivid, eye-catching visuals without the excessive intensity that would be uncomfortable at close range in a darkened venue.
Modular panel construction
The display is built from modular cabinet panels that can be assembled into custom configurations to achieve a wide variety of screen sizes and aspect ratios. Front-access serviceability on most panel designs allows for quick maintenance and LED module replacement without dismantling the entire structure, which is a practical advantage in rental and staging applications.
