The Pixelhue X400 Media Server can drive up to 6x 4K or 24x 2K mosaic outputs from a single server unit, giving production teams the flexibility to run expansive, high-resolution displays without chaining multiple systems together.

Hardware Decoding

Built on an advanced graphics card, the X400 handles hardware decoding of 8K@60fps UHD video and simultaneous smooth playback of multiple 4K@60fps streams, with support for formats including H.264, H.265 (HEVC), VP9, ProRes, and MPEG4.

Modular I/O Design

The X400 features 2 input card slots and 6 output card slots, supporting up to 2x 4K input cards and 4x 4K output cards at the same time. The modular, plug-in design makes field deployment and future upgrades straightforward.

Reliability and Redundancy

The X400 runs on dual high-speed SSDs with a dual OS and dual authorization mechanism, paired with redundant configuration and frame sync technology to ensure stable, seamless playback during mission-critical live events.

Pilot MS3 Software

The X400 comes with Pixelhue’s built-in Pilot MS3 multimedia playback software, featuring unlimited layers and programs, crossfade effects, real-time output preview, customizable GUI, and support for irregular screen shapes and ultra-wide video configurations.
