Novastar H5 Video Splicing Processor

The Novastar H5 Video Splicing Processor represents a flagship all-in-one video splicing processor, purpose-built for fine-pitch LED applications. It stands as the industry’s pioneering all-in-one splicer and controller, greatly simplifying system integration. With its cutting-edge image processing technology, the H Series delivers a visually stunning experience, making it the ideal choice for fine-pitch LED applications.

The H5 adopts a modular plug-in design, featuring a range of connector modules. It includes the control card and power supply as standard components. To achieve full functionality, a minimum of one additional input card and one output card are necessary.

The H Series leverages a comprehensive hardware slot structure, incorporating high-performance FPGA processing and ultra-speed crosspoint matrix switching technology, enabling robust signal processing capabilities.

Modular Architecture

The Novastar H5 Video Splicing Processor is built on a powerful FPGA hardware system with a modular, plug-in design that allows for flexible configuration and hot swapping of input and output cards, making on-site adjustments fast and straightforward with a low failure rate.

Input Connectivity

The H5 supports industry-standard input connectors including HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, VGA, CVBS, SDI, and IP, with 10-bit video source input and processing, as well as full 4K high-definition inputs and outputs.

Pixel Load Capacity

As a 5U rack-mounted unit, the H5 supports up to 39 million pixels via RJ45 connections and up to 62.4 million pixels when using fiber outputs, making it well-suited for large-scale LED video wall installations.

Multi-Screen and Layer Management

The H5 supports up to 48 layers total, with each screen carrying its own independent output resolution. It also supports mosaic and irregular screen configurations, input source grouping, background images, OSD settings, and seamless switching under 60ms.

Web-Based Control

The H5 uses a browser-based control architecture with no software installation required, supporting cross-platform access on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Linux, with real-time multi-user collaboration and online firmware updates.
