4K Loading Capacity

A single Novastar MCTRL4K unit supports a loading capacity of up to 4096×2160@60Hz, with custom resolution support for widths or heights up to 7680 pixels, making it a solid fit for ultra-wide or ultra-long LED wall configurations.

Image Quality and Calibration

The MCTRL4K includes HDR10 and HLG support, individual gamma adjustment for red, green, and blue channels, and pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration. Together, these tools improve display uniformity, grayscale accuracy, and color consistency across the entire screen.

Low Latency

When low latency mode is enabled alongside input source sync, the delay between the input source and receiving card can be reduced to a single frame, which is critical for live event environments where video needs to stay locked with audio and lighting.

Scalability and Cascading

Up to 10 MCTRL4K units can be cascaded for synchronized output across very large installations. The unit also supports mosaic mode and multi-card mode, with the option to operate as two independent controllers fed by separate input sources.

3D Support

The MCTRL4K supports a complete active shutter 3D solution when paired with NovaStar’s EMT200 3D emitter and compatible glasses, enabling immersive 3D display on LED screens.
