4K Bidirectional Cross Conversion

The Decimator 12G-CROSS HDMI/SDI 4K Cross Converter accepts one HDMI 2.0 input and one 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI input, and can convert in either direction at resolutions up to DCI and UHD 4K at 60fps. Either the HDMI or SDI output can be simultaneously sourced from either the HDMI or SDI input, or the 4K scaling engine, giving operators significant routing flexibility.

4K Scaling Engine with 3,249 Conversion Possibilities

The built-in 4K scaling engine converts between 351 input formats and 57 output formats, covering everything from SD up to 4K60 via 12G-SDI or HDMI. The engine supports horizontal and vertical image flipping, and can be locked to either the SDI, HDMI, or dedicated Genlock input for synchronized output in multi-device workflows.

4 SDI Outputs with Distribution Amplifier Function

Two Decimator 12G-CROSS HDMI/SDI 4K Cross Converter outputs and two 12G-SDI active loop-through outputs give the 12G-CROSS four total SDI outputs, allowing it to double as a 1-to-4 distribution amplifier. SDI output pair 1 can be configured as a copy of the SDI input or matched to pair 2, and audio pairs in both SDI and HDMI outputs can be rearranged as needed.

57 Selectable Conversion Modes and On-Device Control

The Decimator 12G-CROSS HDMI/SDI 4K Cross Converter offers 57 selectable conversion modes accessed entirely from its onboard LCD and button control system, with no laptop or external software required on-site. It also supports 294 VESA formats via HDMI input for compatibility with computers and non-broadcast sources.

Compact and Fanless Build

Measuring just 5.1″ x 4.2″ x 1.2″ and housed in a solid aluminum enclosure, the 12G-CROSS is low-power and completely fanless, making it quiet enough for use in virtually any production or broadcast environment. A USB port handles firmware updates, and a threaded locking DC power connector keeps everything secure during transport.
